Super Valentina is not just another teaser made in just one month! If fate wanted it in that way again, why not?

In this case, we did it smoothly and some advantages: the IP was based on the characters of the film we were making at that time (Valentina). So we only had to focus on lore, story, and quality.

We are very proud of the result, we think it is excellent, but it is something you have to decide for yourself. Like any parent, we are not objective… we love Super Valentina!

Valentina dreams of being a trapeze artist. But she thinks she will never be able to do it because she has Down syndrome. Her Grandmother —who teaches her to play chess and a lot of songs— always encourages her to persevere: If the caterpillars manage to turn into butterflies, nothing is impossible. We must never lose the illusion or the desire to learn.  Look at me, I’m still determined to be a conductor one day!

All was made entirely in Antaruxa animation studio. All processes from the initial development to the final cut to send to the lab. Moreover, we did it with an unbeatable quality/cost ratio.

We have heard that when you produce a film yourself, the things around it are more complicated than making the film itself. In our experience: yes, we can totally confirm this fact. The making of the shots was the easiest part, and that’s why it has been a long and arduous journey, but… Wow. We have finished our first animated feature film! And, obviously, we are very proud of the result! and…hey, it’s even winning important awards! Because yes, it’s a low-cost film but is way over on quality than other productions much more expensive.

The secret? The team. All the credits goes to them. Everyone has put a bit of their souls into Valentina, and it shows.

Muy Monito was an advertising campeign createn in 2020 to advise children to wear a mask. It was a strange work for a strange time. Before the COVID pandemic, we would never have imagined making an animation advertising like this. The project was commissioned by the clothing brand D-Due in collaboration with the connect-19 platform. What is more, the production was made by Tecnipole.

We decided to make a cute little monkey in 2D animation and in various formats so that children could view it on all kinds of devices. On this occasion, apart from 2D animation, we did the direction, editing and motion graphics.

Hoxe con Manquiña (2018), is a television program produced and broadcasted by the local television TVG (Televisión de Galicia). On this occasion from Antaruxa Animation Studio, we create the opening, the music, and other graphics. In this program the actor Manuel Manquiña explores the lesser-known aspects of different sportsmen, actors, writers, and other famous personalities.

We played with this idea for the opening, the closing, the music, and the other graphic parts of the TV program. From our point of view, the result was fantastic, and as far as we know, the result pleased the public and the client as well.

Apart from Hoxe con Manquiña, we work with TVG on other projects such as Vou que teño que ir (2019-2020) and Facendo as Americas (2020-2021). In both programmes, we did graphic design, compositing and sound design.

Rascayú (2012) is an original IP created by some of the members of our team. The project emerged as a TV series and was presented at the Cartoon Forum. Rascayú is lucky, thanks to his magical clover, and to us who have given life to our first IP, although it is a bit weird to say this because Rascayú is a dead skeleton.
We still have a long way to go before we can turn Rascayú and his world into a successful TV Series. But we know that it will be a painstaking and satisfying journey.

Vou Que Teño Que Ir is a hilarious TV Show that gives advice and reveals all the secrets of Galicia’s interesting places.
For this work, we tried to capture the style of humor, and we hope to have achieved it successfully. From our point of view, the result was fantastic, and as far as we know, the result pleased the public and the client as well.

Facendo as Americas (2020-2021), is a television program produced and broadcasted by the local television TVG (Televisión de Galicia). On this occasion from Antaruxa Animation Studio, we create the opening, the music, and other graphics.  We used as inspiration the storyline of the tv show itself: the most important migration that Galicia suffered and all those lives that changed forever.

Mainly, we played with the idea of the past, drawing inspiration from the ethereal, old photos and music in a nostalgic sense. Also, we loved the result, and as far as we know, the result pleases the public and the client.
