Burla Negra is a Galician craft distillery. They are in the heart of Galicia, next to the Ulla river, inspiring myths, literature, festivals and rituals. in lands of wines, of orchards, of stories of old master distillers who dedicated part of their lives to perfecting their recipes in clandestine stills.

An advertising campaign for an authentic rum for pirates. It is something that does not happen every day. So, we accepted without thinking twice and asked for two barrels of rum as payment in exchange for the work.

Congo’s guidelines were creative and exciting. But we wanted to offer the highest quality possible for Burla Negra. Also, we had no choice but to get into the role and have a pirate life for a few weeks. Furthermore, the best part was that the result of the work was fantastic, the worst was discovering that it is not so healthy to drink rum like pirates every day – we almost didn’t make it to the delivery and we almost consumed all the payment (at least this rum doesn’t give hangover).
